francisco, 83 in san jose. more on your weather coming up. right now let's check the roads with elizabeth. >> thanks. if you are coming into san francisco, you may want to avoid 101. this is the problem northbound 101 right before candlestick. we have an accident there truck slammed into the back of a garbage truck. the garbage truck caught fire. the bottom corner of your screen you will see flashing lights where they still have two lanes blocked off a lot of emergency crews are on scene. we are seeing brake lights as far back as sierra point parkway. it's growing because of blocked lanes. use 280 to get into san francisco. we are also seeing unusual heavy traffic now approaching the bay bridge toll plaza. the metering lights were turned on anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes earlier than we typically see them turned on. there was a stall on the "s" curve before treasure island. this is going to take a long time to recover even though the stall is cleared. it's jammed up toward the overcrossings. back to you guys. >
